About Philipp
Philipp Lorig is a postdoctoral Research Associate at the Chair of Political Sociology, Friedrich Schiller University Jena, and Co-Investigator in the Research Unit on Voluntariness. His research focuses on new forms of work in the digital platform economy, the social-theoretical analysis of contemporary capitalism, precarization, social inequality as well as on the interrelations of work and subjectification. He recently published „Crowdwork in Handiwork Services – Traditionalisation within Innovation“ (in Europe in the brave new world: Das Transform! Jahrbuch 2020).
