Nina Leonhard is head of the project area of military sociology at the Bundeswehr Center for Military History and Social Sciences in Potsdam and a senior lecturer at the Institute of Sociology at the University of Münster. She researches and teaches on military sociology and the sociology of memory. Her most recent publications include the new edition of the textbook Militärsoziologie – eine Einführung (Springer, 2023) and the two-volume handbook Sozialwissenschaftliche Gedächtnisforschung (Springer, 2023).
