Voluntariness on Tour: Talk at the “Fuldaer Abende”

On January 18, 2022, Elena M. E. Kiesel and Christiane Kuller, project investigators of our sub-project on voluntariness and dictatorship, will be participating at the “Fuldaer Abende”. With a talk titled “‘Eine Sache der Ehre und hoher sozialistischer Arbeitsmoral’. Die Neuererbewegung als ‘freiwilliges’ Mitmachen in der DDR” they explore voluntary participation within the Neuererwesen as a workplace inventor and suggestion scheme of the GDR.

Since 2004, the “Fuldaer Abende” have been established as a interdisciplinary lecture series organized at the Fulda University of Applied Sciences. Talks about a wide range of topics from political and social sciences to cultural studies make scientific expertise and public interest meet.

If you are interested, feel free to enter the discussion and join Elena and Christiane digitally on January 18, 2022, 7 pm. Please register with Adelheid Lauer from the Department of Social and Cultural Sciences at Fulda University of Applied Sciences via Email (details see full programm).
