On January 18, 2022, Elena M. E. Kiesel and Christiane Kuller, project investigators of our sub-project on voluntariness and dictatorship, will be participating at the “Fuldaer Abende”. With a talk titled “‘Eine Sache der Ehre und hoher sozialistischer Arbeitsmoral’. Die Neuererbewegung als ‘freiwilliges’ Mitmachen in der DDR” they explore voluntary participation within the Neuererwesen as a workplace inventor and suggestion scheme of the GDR.
Since 2004, the “Fuldaer Abende” have been established as a interdisciplinary lecture series organized at the Fulda University of Applied Sciences. Talks about a wide range of topics from political and social sciences to cultural studies make scientific expertise and public interest meet.
